General Information:

CCPDL's privacy policy is designed to protect the personal information of students and interested parties. Disclosed below are our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website:

CCPDL does not share information about students unless the student has signed a waiver with a government agency or corporation/sponsor, or has made a specific request in writing granting permission for the school to disclose information to a sponsor or parent/guardian. In all other circumstances personal information is kept confidential and not shared with any third party.

Our Privacy Pledge:

CCPDL will use your personal information solely for the purposes of enhancing your experience with our site and to answer any questions you may have concerning the Institution. We will not sell or rent your personal information to a third party.

Refund Policy:

Complete withdrawal from CCPDL

If you must fully withdraw from CCPDL because of study permit refusal, you must notify CCPDL in writing. Refund requests must include a filed fee refund request form, the original letters, original official payment receipt and the original visa rejection letter from the Canadian embassy. The processing time for refunds is approximately four weeks.

Obtaining a partial refund

If you choose not to attend CCPDL for reasons other than visa rejection, the refund is calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy for those students who officially drop the program or classes during the first two weeks of the Program Start Date.

The fee is 100% refundable less banking charges if the students fails to obtain student visa to come and study. Student should notify the institution and submit refund request prior to the program start date (PSD). If is the students responsibility to submit all required documents towards fee refund on time (few exceptions my apply) prior to the (PSD) program start date. Failing to submit the refund request and required documents prior to the (PSD) fee refund will get calculated in accordance with the above percentage.

Where a student has given written notice by registered mail or in-person to the Institution of his or her intention to withdraw prior to the first day of classes in the given program, the Institution will retain 25% of the fees paid and refund the balance.*

Where a student has given written notice by registered mail or in-person to the Institution of his or her intention to withdraw during the first week of classes in the given program, the Institution will retain 50% of the fees paid and refund the balance.

Where a student has given written notice by registered mail or in-person to the Institution of his or her intention to withdraw during the second week of the classes in the given program, the Institution will retain 75% of the fees paid and refund the balance.

Where a student has given written notice by registered mail or in-person to the Institution of his or her intention to withdraw after the second week of classes, no tuition refund shall be given.

 

All refunds pending will be paid within thirty days of written notice of withdrawal. The percentage of refund is determined by the date stamp issued by CCPDL's Admission Department indicating official withdrawal from classes.

Failure to attend class, merely giving notice to the instructor, or making a stop payment on a cheque is not considered an official drop or withdrawal from the program.

Students who have paid their tuition fees by credit card will get refunded back onto to the same credit card, less banking charges along with the above percentage calculated.

Students granted with payment plan options towards the tuition fees are required to clear the balance due based on the above refund schedule. The initial registration fee and other student service fees are non-refundable (e.g. accommodation arrangements, courier charges).

* NOTE: If you choose not to pursue studies at CCPDL once your study permit (Student Visa) has been approved/granted, tuition fee refund is not applicable. Under exceptional circumstances, the tuition fee can be get transferred to another educational institution within the Greater Toronto Area.
